  Dr. D. RUKMANI DEVI, B.E, M.E, M.S. Ph.D.

                           

Dr. D. RUKMANI DEVI, B.E, M.E, M.S. Ph.D. is Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Overall Academic Coordinator at R.M.D Engineering College where she has been a faculty member since June 2014. She obtained B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 1992 from IRTT, affiliated to Bharathiar University, M.S in Electronics in the year 1997 at BITS, Pilani, M.E. in VLSI Design in the year 2006 at R.M.K. Engineering College affiliated to Anna University and Ph.D in the year of 2013 under Anna University in the area of VLSI Design. She has 25 years of teaching experience in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. She has guided many B.E. and M.E projects. One candidate has completed a Ph.D. under her supervision. She is guiding 12 Ph.D., research scholars. Her areas of interest include VLSI, Embedded, image and video processing and networks. She has published papers in ten international journals. She acted as Chairman for Zone- I central valuation organized by Anna University. She has delivered many lectures as a resource person for many workshops, seminars and faculty development program sponsored by AICTE and Anna University. She has published books on VLSI Design’, Embedded and Real-time systems, Wireless Networks and Digital Signal Processing. 

ACHIEVEMENTS/AWARDS

♦Received Funds from IEDC for the project titled "The Flink Modular Helmet For Road  
 Safety Using Wireless Transmission" for the Academic Year 2016-2017.

♦Received Service Excellence award from RMK Engineering College during the year 2014.
